BIOGRAPHY

IMG_9943 (5).jpg

After graduating from Wheaton College with a degree in biochemistry, I started my career researching cancer biology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute within the Harvard Institute of Medicine as a research technician. I went on to receive a Master's degrees in Cell Biology from Yale Medical School. During grad school my passion for hands-on innovation blossomed as I volunteered a community makerspace in New Haven. This experience, and my lifelong love of making, prompted me to enter the makerspace world professionally leading to my current position as the makerspace coordinator at the university of New Haven.

Woodworking was my entry into making and is still something that brings me great joy. I'm always learning something new and have since expanded into 3D printing, 3D modeling, CNC machining and laser cutting.
